WORKPLACE ESSENTIALS FOR BETTER BUSINESS

NEW BROCHURES NOW AVAILABLE

The Department of Training and Workforce Development, together with their project partners, published additional workforce planning and development brochures tailored to small to medium businesses.

The brochure titles are as follows:

  • Fostering workplace innovation in your business – Innovation thrives in an environment where it's encouraged, accepted, promoted, recognised and celebrated.

  • Retaining and supporting employees – The cost to bring a new person into the workplace includes dollars spent on advertising, selection and lost productivity while positions are vacant. Flexible work options to retain and support employees can provide a strong business advantage.

  • Managing change in the workplace – Change in a workplace is best undertaken with carefully considered goals, good planning, capable people to drive and implement change and involvement of people who are affected.

Visit the Workplace Essentials website for these and previous brochures. Also refer to the What's New which contains workforce planning and development news as well as events and information.
