The Djarlma Plan (WA Forestry Industry Development Plan) was recently released by the Forestry industry and Forest Products Commission. The Plan provides a strategic framework to achieve employment, investment and environmentally sustainable development outcomes.
The Wood Encouragement Policy for Western Australia (WEP) has been released as an action from the Djarlma Plan to encourage the use of responsibly sourced wood in the construction and fit-out of buildings/structures.
