The WA Government has announced a free initiative supporting employers and skilled migrants to connect.

Skilled Migrants (on shore and overseas) have indicated that they are seeking WA employment opportunities. Employers can then identify talent that may align with business needs.

Changes to WA's WHS laws

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA and the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety have got together to deliver a free event covering the recent changes to WA’s WHS laws. 25 August.

For Kimberley stakeholders:

A high-tech cotton processing facility is a step closer to development in the East Kimberley. The State Government have leased land to the Kimberley Cotton Company, comprised of a consortium of local growers, investors and Traditional Owners, the Miriuwung Gajerrong Corporation.

The Cert IV in Animal Behaviour and Training has been updated to include five new units reflecting the skills to train assistance dogs. These skills are in demand with a projected growth rate of 10.5%.
