The report contains 34 recommendations to make incentives more effective. It also addresses wider issues such as cost-of-living, safe workplaces, VET qualifications, and best practice for improving completions.

 

There was an increase in 14 of the 19 industries over the year to August 2024 with the most employment growth in the Health Care and Social Assistance, Public Administration and Safety and Education and Training industries.

 

New Educational Hub for Students and Teachers:  Thoroughbred Breeders Australia

Thoroughbred Breeders Australia is excited to announce the release of TBA Schools, a new educational hub designed for students and teachers. TBA Schools provides free access to curriculum-aligned educational resources that draw upon the Australia’s thoroughbred industry.

 

New Report:  An Essential Ingredient:  The Food Supply Chain Workforce

Jobs and Skills Australia has released a new report which provides insights on food security while addressing workforce needs.  To support the release of this report, a webinar is being held on Friday 31 January 2025.
