Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy announced.

The State Government has today outlined an overarching mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy with a phased approach to a majority of occupations and workforces within Western Australia



WorkCover WA - Educating employers about their rights and obligations within WA's workers' compensation scheme 10 November 9–11 am.

A free seminar. Attendees will gain an in depth understanding of an employer’s role, rights and obligations in the workers’ compensation and injury management scheme.

Skills Impact needs industry help in articulating the work tasks and standards required for organic production and composting. If you or people you know are interested please consider contributing to the project.



Mandatory workplace requirements in VET products

The Department of Education, Skills and Employment is reviewing how MWRs are currently expressed and is consulting with stakeholders about their needs, expectations and concerns. There is an RTO survey here



For RTOs Focus on Quality: TAC Regulatory Strategy 2021-2023

The TAC Regulatory Strategy informs RTOs and VET stakeholders about specific focus areas the Council has identified as posing the highest risk to the quality of VET and the regulatory actions to monitor and minimise those risks



New NCVER Report: VET for secondary school students: insights and outcomes

This study investigates the models used to deliver VET to secondary students across and within jurisdictions and public and private school sectors, and reports on findings from surveys of students and parents about their motivations and aspirations.



New ASQA Report: VET Delivery in secondary schools students scoping study.

ASQA has recently undertaken a scoping study to look at some of the risks and issues associated with the delivery of VET qualifications to school students.

Recent research found that becoming a VET practitioner is an ongoing journey, not a destination.
