Big Ideas Rural Virtual Summit:

For International Women's Day with 15+ speakers - held across 2 days March 9th-10th 2020. Speakers will be sharing their female entrepreneur success stories, focusing on overcoming adversity and/or inspiring female entrepreneurs that their vision is possible.

Fishtech and Aquabotics:

Agribusiness Investment Fund:

$4.5 million available to businesses for value add capital expenditure related to investment in expansion or relocation in regional WA; undertaking a feasibility study and/or investment in ag-tech or food-tech. Applications close March 9, 2020.

Aboriginal Ranger Program:

Round 3 applications open with $4 million available for Aboriginal organisations to train and employ rangers. Applications close 27 March 2020

Training Accreditation Council:

TAC has released its 2020 Education Program Calendar with regional PD sessions for RTOs in Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, Broome, Port Hedland and Geraldton

New ASQA Website:

The Australian Skills Quality Authority has launched its new website as part of its commitment to provide easier access to information and engagement tools

New ASQA Video:

“What happens at Audit” – to support RTOs to understand audits.

Agrifood businesses support:

Funding to access professional business services to help increase jobs, facilitate growth, diversification and expansion, and research technological solutions to improve efficiency and resolve digital problems.

Laundry and Dry Cleaning:

IBSA Manufacturing announced the release of new qualifications in MST Laundry and Dry Cleaning.

New Timber Harvesting Technologies Project:

Skills Impact is seeking further input into draft documents for this project. Feedback closes on 28 February 2020.
